Acceptance…hum. I have a plaque in my bathroom that says: Just to Be is a Blessing, Just to Live is Sacred. Every morning, when I remember to read it, I smile and give thanks for the reminder of gracefully accepting life. I go to the kitchen to put tea on and by the pot is a plaque that says: Rising this morning, I noticed that God laid the World at my Feet. Again I am profoundly reminded of the gifts I receive everyday. And then I focus on other activities in which I receive. I love to roll in the sand after swimming in the ocean to receive the warmth and texture of the Earth. I love to see the glow of the fire in my music room as I receive its warmth and comfort during the cold nights and practices. I love to receive Curly’s love as she nudges me (I’m calling it love, she actually wants food; she’s a sheep) as I read outside in my secret reading place by the creek in the backyard (don’t tell anyone where it is!). I love to think I know something and then stop to really listen to the other person and find I receive their unexpected perspective. I love to witness and receive my student’s energy when they all sing together in class and respond knowingly and happily to my never ending questions. I love each breath I receive and the feel of the air going through my hair when I run and ski. I love taking in the beauty of the sun and the mountains and the meadows and the shadows on my way to work. I guess it’s all about me opening up my “eye” and seeing that I have already received much and there is much more to receive. I welcome with grace, openness, humbleness and joy the wellbeing and abundance of our precious Universe. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. And so it is. Maktub!

Everything I have asked for has already been given to me. It is in my vortex, swriling all around me, just waiting for me to line up with it energetically.
