A PLANET OF ALIENS
Higher Self of Carolyn Gervais
Today we are going to touch on a topic that is different than any other topic we have brought forth. You might say planet Earth is a hot bed of diversity with all of its Earthly Kingdoms. The human kingdom is use to competing with all the others in such a way that brings discord and unrest. Next to the human kingdom, the animal kingdom is the second most powerful kingdom on the Earth. Man has created much karma with the animal kingdom, with a misuse of power and it is time to balance the two kingdoms with the kind of compassion that that only comes with true understanding. To do so, the human ego must give up control to the heart; to be tamed and tempered with love so that the animal kingdom may once again live in complete harmony with the human kingdom and restore the balance of the two.
Long before time came into being there were groups of souls, for lack of a better way to say it, that decided to co-create with the Creator a world they would call Earth or Gaia. It took thousands and thousands of Earthly years to find the best mixture and type of species that would have the greatest chance to play the linear game of polar opposites and succeed. When we use the word species, we are speaking of souls that have come from other planets, galaxies, realms, and worlds beyond worlds, one might say. This diversity was so enormous that the beings that came to Earth for the experiment would be viewed as alien to one another in appearance, temperament, personality, and also in the way that each species and life form lived and survived. Because it was an experiment that had not taken place before, what would be gained by it was yet to be seen.
The plan was that the Earths’ new inhabitants would come to realize that differences can expand awareness and balance out opposites, as each work together and share knowledge. To look at the experiment from a superficial level, it seemed an impossible task for the many species of animals and the many variations of humans, to co-exist on the same planet without destroying each other. That too was part of the game, to see how long and what process would take place before the inhabitants of Earth found a way to work together as a unified force of harmony. The final stages of that process are in the works, even though barbarism is still a part of the present game.
First, it is important to point out that as far as the Earth goes, you have all come from various realms, galaxies, planets and dimensions to be a part of the experience of Earth. Yes, certain groups of you have come from particular realms of energy, while other groups have come from this galaxy or that planetary system. So in essence you are all aliens to the Earth. One meaning for the word alien is: Not part of the essential nature of a thing. This at times, is how you view other forms of life or a person who is so unlike yourself that you can hardly believe they are of human origin. That is when fear takes hold, walls go up, the heart pulls back and you are off and away. The fact is that all life in all of its forms is a part of the essential nature of everything. That is why you have come here again and again as animals and humans, to prove that point.
Where does the animal kingdom fit into all of this? Let’s talk more specifically, by using your most common household pets as an example…dogs and cats. Like humans they come in many variations of size, color, breed, shape, temperament, needs and personality. They too are from other planets, galaxies, star systems, and various realms of existence. Like humans… dogs and cats are also alien to your planet, as are all species of the animal kingdom. And like humans… animals also compete with each other through their personality, temperament, needs, DNA and with their instincts.
All of you who are reading this know that all life forms are unique and necessary. Each brings with it another piece that helps fill in the gaps... that seemingly separate one being from another… while adding a bit more balance to the whole picture.
There are still many on your Earth, as sad as it may be, that think animals, especially dogs and cats, are less worthy of love and compassion than a human; that they don’t have feelings or intelligence.
It is important that the uninformed in this area, become informed so that animal abuse will become a thing of the past. For example, we are going to share an experience Carolyn had a few years back.
It was the holiday season and Carolyn and her husband were at a friends’ house for the day. Quite a few people showed up and everyone was mingling, when a man, we will call Tim, began sharing with Carolyn that he had given his eleven year old son a BB gun for his birthday. He continued to say that his son now shoots at almost anything that moves and that he’s a little concerned as to what to do about it. Carolyn asked Tim. “What do you tell him?”
“I tell him to only shoot at animals and birds that have no real purpose.” Ones that no one cares about, but he doesn’t listen,” Tim replied.
“Do you like to hunt animals Tim, and if so, do you take your son hunting with you?” Carolyn asked.
Tim stated, “Yes to both questions and my son likes hunting.”
“Do you kill for sport or for food?”
“Mostly for sport,” He said. “Because I like to mount animal heads and put them in my house.”
“Does your son feel the least bit sad or guilty when he kills a bird, a cat, or even a deer when you go hunting?”
“No, it doesn’t bother him. It’s entertainment for us, plus it gives me another head to mount and it’s our sport like playing football, you know?”
“Okay, I can see that you look at the animals you kill as a form of art, since you adorn your walls with their heads. I myself could not willingly kill an animal, let alone mount his head on my wall…but I’m trying to see it through your view and not mine. So let me ask you this Tim. Do you view the life in all creatures as sacred and equal?”
“Heavens no”, Tim chuckled. Some animals are just ugly, a nuisance and serve no purpose at all… and they are the ones I just as soon get rid of…like dirty Pigeons; the thousands of birds that hang out in trees and all the stray dogs and cats that come around. You know things like that.”
“Okay Tim, I hear what you’re saying but do you think that with that outlook that maybe the message you are giving your son is that whatever he deems worthless, ugly, a nuisance or a sport… that it’s alright to kill it, or at least cause it harm in some way? I mean, if it doesn’t make him feel the least bit guilty or remorseful when he kills a defenseless animal or bird… that tells me he doesn’t understand that all life has value. Value, if for no other reason, than it is alive like he is. His lack of respect for all life could also carry over into his human relationships as he gets older.
“Well, I didn’t think of it like that.” Tim said as if he were trying to get his head around that concept.
“Maybe it will help to look at it like this Tim. There is a universal, creative life force in all living things, including you. That’s what makes our bodies alive. The life force in all living things is no different in a human, a dirty mangy dog, a cat or a seemingly worthless Pigeon. That means that all life is not only equal in value but also sacred because it was created by the creative force that makes the universe; the animals killed for sport or to eat; you and your son. Sanctity is every living creature’s right to be. Every living thing serves to maintain balance between all the kingdoms of Earth, in some way. If you teach your son to see all life as sacred and equal in all of its forms, he won’t look at killing in such a cold and detached way.”
So what does this story have to do with how the game of Earth plays out? The people who come to Earth and love what you call animals, to the degree that they sometimes sacrifice their own needs to care for their pets, and/or, are willing to do anything to support animal rights laws... are somewhat closer to understanding that there is room for all creatures in a world filled with diversity and adversity. What is your saying? “Animals are human too.” Well in a large sense they are human but you might say they are a different breed, a different species of human. Man’s arrogance has a way of measuring every aspect of life with how he views it, even if that view is so limited that it can’t see the forest for the trees.
More and more are coming to the realization that (all) life forms serve a higher purpose than that of eating, sleeping and breathing. For those who believe that animals are not intelligent; the question is, how do you define intelligence? Just because an animal doesn’t always understand what’s expected of it, does not mean he/she is not intelligent. As in humans, there are different kinds of intelligence, talent and ways of understanding. All animals respond to human words and feelings once they adapt to a person’s voice inflections, feelings and the actions associated with them. Ask any channel that speaks psychically to animals and they will tell you that animals feel and react to every human feeling and word in some way even if only internally.
Imagine if you will that you have been transported to a realm where the inhabitants walk on four legs, talk with a bark or a meow and eat whatever is eatable. How would you survive in a realm where you were the pet and the four legged animals were your masters? Would you not have to study the four legged beings’ movements, listen to their voice, tone and inflections in order to understand enough, so that you might be able to interact with them and express to them some of your needs? Isn’t that what many animal studies are all about? How to interrelate with and to understand the animal kingdom? Of course different species require somewhat different methods.
Our channel remembers many years ago when she was singing and touring with a show band; traveling around the U. S. out on the road in a van. The owners of the van were a bass player, Jimmy T. and his wife Robin. They had a small white dog named Mac. Mac was what Carolyn would call a very meek and frightened little thing, because as Carolyn soon found out, his owners abused him harshly and often. Carolyn’s heart went out to this little bundle of life. While traveling in the van one day, the couple had to stop at a store for something. Little Mac had just been slapped and yelled at for coming over to lay on Carolyn’s lap. Though Carolyn pleaded with Robin and Jimmy T. to let Mac stay on her lap, they insisted that he had to learn to obey. He was hit again and told to go to the back of the van, and to lay down. Mac never barked or made noise and he was always perfectly obedient.
When Robin and Jimmy T. went into the store Mac quietly walked over to Carolyn and crawled into her lap to lay there. He didn’t bark or whimper, he just snuggled in her lap. Carolyn’s heart felt like it was broken as she stroked little Mac and soothingly talked to him. She knew what he wanted and needed and she told him she understood how he felt. And that being out on the road traveling from resort to resort, at a thousand mile stretch, there wasn’t much she could do to protect him, except to defend him when she was around. Carolyn poured her love into Mac and hoped that would sustain him for awhile. She let Mac know when Robin and Jimmy T. were on their way back to the van. When she said “Mac, they’re coming sweetie, go to the back of the van so they don’t hurt you again and I will talk to them.” Mac obediently got up, went to the back of the van and lay down quietly. Carolyn let Robin and Jimmy T. know how she felt about their abusiveness with Mac and they agreed that maybe they were too hard on him.
Did Mac understand every word Robin and Jimmy T. shouted at him? Did he understand what Carolyn told him as well? Oh, yes he did. Mac learned to understand human body language or be maimed for life. Mac in his own way let Carolyn know that he was with Robin and Jimmy T. to teach them how to love and have compassion for other animals and humans. Mac brought the gift of unconditional love to the world. Carolyn also knew that Mac was cared for by the angelic realm and that he was doing what he came to do, to teach the human heart to love.
So do you see how intelligence comes in all forms of life, and expresses in its own unique, intelligent way. All life is intelligent life; it just speaks in different languages and expresses itself in ways, unique to its habitat, culture and DNA. Sacred is what all life is, even if the given form is judged by the unaware as ugly, worthless and unintelligent, or by the aware as beautiful, worthy and intelligent. Such are the polar opposites. But in truth all is perfect in and of itself. When the human heart is open; the mind uncluttered and the human spirit set free, all life is beauty and perfection unfolding. That is the true essence of the Universal Creative Force.

About Carolyn:
I have been a student and teacher of “metaphysical-spirituality” for over 30 years. You can find out more about my background by going to my website at: http://awakeningyou.com
I have an M.S. in Wholistic Nutrition. I am a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Certified Spiritual Counselor and a Minister of Overlight Spiritual Psychology.
Beginning as a young child I yearned to understand why I was here on earth. When I looked into the eyes of someone, whether I knew them or not, I could see and feel their sadness; their anger and their innocence. A strong yearning to understand why became such a need, that I would continuously drive the adults in my life crazy with questions as to why God made us and put us here on Earth. I was told that “God” didn’t want us to know the answers to such questions, but some part of me knew, even at the age of eight…that answer was not acceptable. I was bound and determined that I would ask God all my questions until He answered them.
What I found out is that the answers keep expanding as we grow in awareness; that's when the questions become more complex as we go deeper into our truth. Why? Because the picture of ourselves and our life becomes larger and larger.
My inquiring mind has taken me into many aspects of study, meditation and otherworldly experiences that pertain to the deeper meaning and purpose of the body, mind, soul and spirit.
Love is the creator of the Universe!
Blessings.
