When I find myself in a situation I would love to change, and don’t know how – I contemplate: how would a “Master” handle or see the situation? With this approach, I get a second opinion or a different point of view: sometimes; even multiple ways to proceed.
Once I have choices for my predicament, I ask for guidance from my higher realms, guides, or God as to which choice is for my highest and best good. Sometimes it’s very clear which choice is preferable, other times it’s simply “what experience do I want to create for myself next?”
Life is pretty easy these days and most of the time I simply go with the natural flow. I like living in peace with myself and the world around me.
Life is good! Whoo-hoo!
Lots of Love!

A Thousand Points of Light
I often hear people talk about their longing to be part of a community of like-minded people – to be welcomed, accepted, and loved for whoever they are. I think it’s a wonderful thing when you find people that you really feel connected with. But the question always presents: how long do you stay there? Do you move into this community (literally or figuratively) – or do you just visit from time to time?
I am one of the lucky people who enjoy my biological family, and I consider myself a part of several ‘communities’ or ‘spiritual families’. Obviously I don’t spend 24/7 with any of them or I might not have time for the others. However, spending time with any of these groups of people enhances who I am – so I treasure all of them.
While growing up, my biological family was the perfect place for me to gain confidence in myself and to get a peek at some of my talents and abilities. But there wasn’t much going on, economically, in
Might the same be true of spiritual family/community? Gathering together with like-minded people is a wonderful opportunity for you to gain an awareness of gifts and abilities that you might have overlooked, and it’s a great place for you to practice new aspects of “you” in a safe and loving environment. You feel OK to fully shine your light here, even though you may hide that bit of yourself when you are away from this family. So, do you play it safe, and stay with this community indefinitely – or do you spread your wings and fly? The good news is – there is no right answer.
We all shine a unique light, and wherever you go, you take that light with you. You make an impact on people and places in ways that you might not be aware of – so perhaps flying out of the nest is good for us, as well as for you.
When you gain the confidence to be fully yourself, wherever you happen to be – then you are always “at home”, and we are all blessed because we get to experience your light at full force.
So, what is it to be? Shining only when in the safety of your community, or daring to shine your light brightly everywhere you go?
Namaste!
