It has been a very interesting month for me.  A few weekends ago, I attended an “Energetic Playshop” presented by my friend, William Linville.  As happens at many of the seminars that I attend, and certainly at something with the word “energetic” in the title, I noticed lots of energy moving through my body and swirling through my head.  The energy part of the weekend was far more impactful than any of the words that were spoken.

In looking at many of the things that we humans do, it seems that the spoken word is merely an excuse to gather people together in one place.  The real magic happens in the energies that are shared.  I remember visits to my oldest brother, Tom, when he was unable to travel to see me.  About once a month, I would drive four hours to see him, and we would sit and talk about nothing in particular.  None of the words that we shared were of any significance, and yet, the energy of the sharing was what made the trips worthwhile.

How many times have you talked with a good friend and, even though you could remember little of the conversation, felt that you had just had the best talk ever?  The talking was the excuse to come together, the love and the energy that you shared was the gift you were given for taking the time to talk.

In the supposed empty air around us, we are surrounded by energy; we send it out and we receive it in.  We process the incoming data and call it intuition.  We have fun and send ‘feel good’ energy flowing out to the world around us.  We show that we are feeling down, even when we’re smiling, because of that dark cloud that hangs over our head.  When you begin to pay attention to the energy around you, there is a vast amount of information there.

There is more to this life existence than words can convey.  If you have ever been around people who speak a different language than you, you notice that you can usually read the mood and the tone of the people.  That’s one example of tuning into subtle energetic fields.  If you practice tuning in, you will begin to open up to a whole new world of data, information, and possibilities.

So, the next time you’re in a conversation or listening to a speaker at a meeting, see if you can feel the energies that surround the words; notice how you feel, listen to your gut, and begin to tap into that vast energetic database that’s constantly swirling around you.

The world is full of energy, and we can tap into it.  I wouldn’t be surprised if the answers to our most pressing societal problems are floating about in the ethers, just waiting to be tapped.

Namaste!

Feeling

I read an article recently where the author suggested something that I don’t remember whether I have ever done.  The author suggested that you go outside and feel what the sun feels like on your completely naked body.

As children, we wouldn’t have thought twice about this.  As an adult, so many questions present themselves.  From sun-block to indecent exposure, my mind wants to go oh, so many directions – even what are my readers going to think about me even bringing this up?  I have to stop my mind right here.

If this is my biggest problem for the day, I will be all right.  Clothes or no clothes, what a choice!  Stop and feel the body with clothes or without.  What about a little breeze on the naked body?

To feel, or not to feel?

Life is good!

Lots of Love!
