I was having a discussion with a friend last week about control, as in:  who has control over our lives, our ego or our spirit?  I asked if we could get beyond control, and my friend mentioned that I must have some issue with that word.  To be honest, I don’t feel that I have an issue with the word in general.  I think the word control fits perfectly for technical and mechanical discussions.  I’m just not so keen on using the word when we’re talking about people.

So, I’ve been thinking it over and asking for clarity.  What is it about “control” that makes me uncomfortable?  After all, lots of people work very hard to gain control over their thoughts or their emotions or other aspects of their life.  But what makes the hair on my neck stand up is the idea of someone or something having control over me, even if that something is my spirit/higher levels.

You see, I like the idea of living on a planet of “free choice”.  Even when I ask my higher levels for guidance, I have the choice of whether or not to follow that guidance.  If I choose to ignore expert advice and make a mess out of things – well, at least it’s my mess.  I can take ownership of my own creations, clean up my own messes, and move forward to create something new and shiny and “mess-free”.

You’ll often hear me tell my higher levels to “take command”, and you might wonder how that differs from “take control”.  Well, as “commander”, my higher levels bring me thoughts, ideas, situations, opportunities, and such.  But it is still up to me to listen to those thoughts and ideas, and to take advantage of the opportunities that are placed in front of me.  To paraphrase an old saying; my higher levels can lead me to water, but they cannot make me drink.

So, without diminishing the value of my higher levels command, I think I’ll save the control for the T.V.; and give myself the gifts of free thought and free choice.

Namaste!

Message To Healers

A message to the healers of the world, and that’s you if you’re reading this.

We are all in this world together to assist each other.  Some of us take on other people’s “stuff” as we assist them to get better.  Stop it!  Taking on someone else’s problem does not help you and is not required to help them.

So, what do I do?  First, I only help when I am asked for assistance.  Why help someone that doesn’t want, or isn’t ready for assistance?  Second, when I assist my fellow humans or animals (or plants for that matter); I always ask my higher levels to include me in the healing process.  If the issue being healed does not pertain to me, there is no harm and it keeps me from taking on other people’s issues.

I recommend highly that you do the same.  Two healings for the price of one; what a deal!  If this seems too simple for you, come to one of our events, or contact us, and we can discuss it in more detail.

Lots of Love & Health,

Wolfgang
