Hi! We are Susan Wright and Wolfgang Lettow, founders of Beacon Of Life (www.beacon-of-life.com) and authors of Weekly Wisdom, a weekly e-newsletter. We are thrilled and honored to be part of the Lightworker Spectrum of Light!I could have spent my time this week dwelling on things or playing “what if” games . I could get myself tied into knots rethinking my words and actions, or I could just let the past be the past (even if it was only 30 minutes ago). I could focus on perceived wrongs and assign blame; or I could refuse to play “victim”, and move on with life.
On the flip-side; things have happened this week that reinforce my belief in the goodness of all humanity, and in the abundance of the universe. Solutions to challenges show up almost as soon as I’ve wrapped my head around the challenge. It is becoming easier and easier to roll with the challenges, knowing that the solution is close behind.
We've just completed another holiday season and are fully into a promising new year. What better time is there than this to remind ourselves of the multitude of blessings and miracles that occur every day? What better time than now to have compassion for those who are struggling to find their way? What better time is there to truly honor the choices and opinions of everyone we know; acknowledging that their life journey is their own and only they can determine their next steps?
And so it is with gratitude that I move forward on my journey, knowing that whatever challenges come my way bring with them a viable solution; knowing that people are basically good and tend to do their best in any given situation; and knowing that I have friends and loved ones who will remind me of these things when I forget.
Wishing you a week of light, love, and easy solutions to your most challenging problems.
Namaste!
Susan
Changing Times
by Wolfgang
Lately, with today’s technology, more and more of these events are presented through conference calls or webcasts. The pros are easy to see: no travel required, participate from the comfort of your home, less time commitment, and less expense. Exercises change from working in groups to a solo experience at home. Socializing is done through a group on Facebook.
It’s not quite the same as walking into a room full of people, hugging old friends and making new ones.
It’s so convenient to have all kinds of information available in the comfort of our homes, and it’s so much fun to hang out with people in person, share a meal, and do exercises together. So, there are definitely good reasons for both types of events. It is up to me to be comfortable with the changes that present in my life.
