Mirri Rocks is a poet/writer, all-round artist and empowerment coach.Her first book: "I’m cool: And so are you" was published in 2007. In 2009 she was part of the writers team of the book: SMART, multiple intelligence with children. That book is known as the most innovative publication on kids and education of the year 2009. She was a speaker at TEDx Amsterdam Live in 2011 on empowerment and creativity. She presented workshops, shows, online events and was seen in theater.
Marieke works as awareness coach, trainer and facilitator. She facilitates the expansion of a new awareness. Her main focus is to manifest expansion and bring a new group of young inspired leaders together. Being quite controversial she explores new ground and offers life changing experiences. Her speciality is to activate, crack codes and believe systems. She invites everyone to live in passion and do what you really want to do. She is the writer of the Mirea Chronicles.

The power of focus
Doing
one thing and going for it. This might sound simple, but I always found it a
big task to focus myself on one thing. As a multidimensional being I always am
working on more projects at the same time. I love to do a dozen of things at
once.
Lately I discovered something really cool: Focus. It somehow makes the world
much easier. When you just focus on what you are doing now and going for it it’s
really magical. Somehow my energy always was flying around doing this and that,
and most of the time unfocused. Which is cool also, but can drain you when
there is no grounding. Focus is like grounding. It doesn’t mean that suddenly you’re just working on one project. It’s more
like manifesting a certain energy in your life, and being aware of it. It
clears out all the energetic noise and brings life down to what it’s really
about. It’s easy to dream away in the side salad, while there is an entire meal
waiting.
I used to create with rocket power. When I wanted to do something or manifest
something it just would happen. I would put on a certain button that would just
explode energy in the world. I never had to define what I wanted, I just
launched the wish with magic rocket power, and it would bounce back x 10000. Which
is cool. But also boring in the end and the flow can be a bit based on hypes.
Creation in the end isn’t always about more confetti or bigger, better, best.
It’s about balance, focus, expansion. Sounds boring? Well, for me it’s magic.
It makes me so organized in my mind and energy. Suddenly stuff seems to fit. I
don’t need to care about other things than what I’m doing right now. There is
no need to think, create, manifest anymore. Stuff happens and that is that.
Life isn’t about creating this or that anymore, simply about stuff that
happens. How easy and how cool!
Living a life without goals gives freedom. My intention is to experience
whatever there is to experience in the now. To challenge myself with things
like balance, abundance and expansion. Those basic things allow me to go
beyond. When you climbed the highest tower and realized all your souls dreams
it’s time for something new. It’s time for the focus of your soul.
