As many of you can attest, the 11:11:11 was no ordinary intersection of gravity and space on the calendar of our lives.  This was not just wishful thinking on the part of a bunch of new age hippies.  It was, in short, the birthing of an entire new civilization.  Only few recognize it as such just yet.

I did not know what I was in for but I knew it was going to be a great day.  These writings are not so much about what I did to welcome in the energy but about the impact of that energy once it arrived.  But to give a bit of a background on the day, let me share this…, I had recently (in September) taken a major “step up” into being in my “own life” fully.  It was a step that was more like a gigantic leap.  I took a step away from earning an income, told my children I need some time away, and drove from the east coast of America to the west coast.  (It is a 3000 mile journey).  I did not really know why I was going but I did know that staying with the work I was doing, and continuing to be conducting my life as if I were just playing a role and not really living in it, was not at all what I knew to be the reason we are on this planet.  (That is, those of us who know we are on this particular path, the path of bringing in the light…)

Setting off on such a journey is clearly the stuff of fantasy and movies, and few can muster the craziness and/or inspiration to just “drop” their obligations and caretaking of others and head off to do it.  It is extremely difficult to say it as gently as possible.  I could not really believe I was trusting spirit and actually doing it.  For one person’s insanity is indeed another person’s genius.  And I did not feel very much like a genius.

Meeting a Special Soul

Long story short: I did it.  And once I had spent time in the “very magical lands” of Mt. Shasta, California, I was introduced to a really wonderful person who walked with a spring in their step and had a special air about them that you very rarely find.  His name and mine were the same.  Not really a coincidence as he was me.  And I was very very pleased to finally meet him.

And that is the thing about stepping up, you never know just who you are going to meet.

If you are fortunate, you can continue to hang out and be with you, but it takes great courage.  Courage to know what is best for you and no one else, courage to feel into the deepest recesses of your soul and take a long hard look at what is hiding there, and then let it out.  No matter what it is.  Courage to keep stepping up, taking one more step after the other, even though each one seems to be just about the hardest thing you have ever done. 

I did all these things, and then after 3 weeks in Mt. Shasta, I returned home to the east coast.  But not to a home coming, because I knew that my life there was now over and I needed to return again to the lands that had birthed me anew.   Birthed me into a being of the light that no longer can pretend he can hide in the shadows. For deep in my psyche, deep in my soul of soul’s, I knew that I was like a child in my lightness of being, and that I had to now continue the journey of becoming a true master of the light.

The Work

The path of being a LightWorker is not for the faint of heart.  It is for those who are all heart.  Lion-Hearted in courage, and Dove-Hearted in compassion.  And each of these hearts must be opened so that they blend into one and become the Divine Lotus Heart.  These are words written down, annotations of description…and they are mere wisps in the wind in describing what really occurs, yet that occurrence is who you are to become – if you walk this path fully.

It is what is called The Work.  And it is ancient.  It was often lost many times throughout the ages, and more often than that, had to be kept secret, kept in the shadows.  

Do you think it is surprising that you would want to stay within the shadows?  It is not, as you are the work.  But like the work, you no longer need to remain in the dark.

And yes, it is hard to step into the light after eons of staying protected is it not?

A Ceremony of Ceremonies

So my 11:11:11 day needed to be BIG, as I was going through something BIG.  I had to do something to honor that BIGness.  And since I had spent those three weeks in the presence of a Master Teacher who knew the frequencies and could command them well, I knew I had to show her, and all those who carry The Light that I was up to the task of becoming me.  Because, those Teachers (such as the group and many other Ascended Masters and Spiritual Hierarchies) had asked me to assist in performing the ceremony.  And I was very new at doing that so it was quite a challenge placed before me.

One of my Master Teacher’s most powerful ceremonial teachings was the Native American Medicine Wheel, as it has a long and particular historical weight concerning the honoring of us, the planet and the cosmos.  So I felt that doing such a ceremony would be appropriate.  But I also wanted to do something even more special for the energies of this extraordinary day.  I therefore chose to expand on the tradition and do a geographically diverse symbolic medicine wheel along with the traditional one.  I chose four points around the Mt. Shasta area that held vortex energies, the center-point (and location of the traditional medicine wheel) being upon the mountain itself.  This was indeed ambitious and proved to be a challenge, as not only that the energies were indeed strong, but the logistics and miles traveled ended up being a 12 hour day to complete.

My Master Teacher and I physically went to each location, along with our dear friend who acted with us to ground these sacred and new energies upon the earth.  (Mt. Shasta is the root chakra of the planet and so this was a momentous event.)  Yet still, when we were done, I had no idea just what we had done.

Until the next few days passed that is.

It is not just the Cake and Ice Cream

Just two days following The 11:11:11 ceremony spirit asked me to return to the mountain and finish my personal journey of accepting the energies fully.  They had been initiated and grounded to the earth, but now I needed to do some work on me.

So…when you make a cake, it requires some preparation and some muscle to work the ingredients together…and I needed to start baking.

I did my own ceremony in the same central spot where we had been on the mountain, and I truly wanted to clear what no longer served me, so I put everything I had into the intent and the energy of the ceremony (just as I had for the 11:11:11).  I had learned, (like many of you will learn) that you were once a teacher, a healer, a medicine man/woman, an alchemist, a magician…and that you too, can once more command the elements in and around your life, and so, I put my learning into practice.

And shortly after returning to my dwelling…my low right back and hip began to hurt.  And then hurt and hurt.  And then I could hardly bend or stand without intense pain.  So there it was…the energies of the 11:11:11 created a SHIFT inside me that had to surface.  As this was an old wound that I thought I had cleared by being on this path. 

Baking involves heat.  Intense physical heat.  Doing The Work involves really intense soul-psyche heat, like a crucible heat.

And for the next two weeks I dug deeper and deeper into my soul’s essence (with great assistance because you just can't do this work without guidance), learning and discovering just what had to go so I could become the butterfly.  I was reminded yet again why they call it Light-Work. 

Yet with the assistance of my Master Teacher (who also recently relocated to Mt. Shasta at the behest of spirit), and all those teachers on the other side of the veil who are experts at The Work, (like the group) I was able to continue my path and clear (and clear, and clear).

The point of my tale is this: the 11:11:11 was a wonderment, yet for each of us who are here to enjoy and partake of it…it may also bring the forcefulness of “the clearing”, and you may well be feeling it yourself in any myriad of ways.  It could be just an overall feeling of something is amiss in your life, or if could be a relationship: with a friend, a spouse, a lover or a boss; it could be with a geographical location, or with your home. It could be physical. Whatever it is, you are going to have to take a deep breath and tell yourself, “I can do this, whatever it takes”…because on the other side of the clearing is really (and I can speak firsthand) a wonderful joyous and magical space to be in. 

I am so grateful (now) for the journey, and I know it only continues.  I wish the same for each of you.
