Murgo is a planet that is completely covered with water and has only 1-2 rock points that peek out above the ocean that is Murgo.  Two crystalline cities are situated about 300-400 ft. below the surface where all Murgoans live.

People on Murgo are a humanoid shape with dark green skin, a fin that goes down their back and a fishlike fin at the end of their bodies.  They are very fast swimmers.  Their skin is green, hands and feet are webbed with a long curved nail at the end.  They have no discernible ears and their eyes are round with eyelids that open from the top down which allows them to open their eyes fully or only slightly as needed.  The irises of their eyes are vertical, like a cat’s and they are very sensitive to light.  Their mouth is like a round O.  They have large scales all over their bodies but their skin appears to be very smooth.

The Murgoans are an ancient race who has lived on the planet for thousands of years.  Their ancient ones had evolved to the point where they wished to see other worlds and are the ones who built the crystalline cities before leaving to explore outer space and have not been heard from since.  Their planet was once a part of another star system but one of the suns in that system imploded and pushed their planet elsewhere in space closer to a larger sun that melted their icecaps until there was no land and everything was underwater.  They had always lived in their ocean but had also spent considerable time on land so this was a major adjustment that many of their members were not able to make.  This tragedy greatly changed how they view themselves and each other.

They live in communal families with two or three mated couples and their children.  Most young Murgoans will have 10-12 partners before they find a partner they wish to commit to.  There is no formal ceremony, when two people decide they wish to join, they simply move in together.  They do not have children unless they are with a partner that they want to be with long term as the custom is to stay together until the children are grown.  Youngsters are considered mature by the age of 12 and are then able to be with any partners they choose.

The Murgoan culture has customs but very few, if any rules.  Their primary focus is to experience and live joy in all ways.  Murgoans have a true zest for life.  When asked if they have any illness, they didn’t understand the question so a common cold was described.  They laughed and said they don’t understand how that could bring humans joy, and if it does not bring us joy – then why do we do it?  They also do not have any formal religious beliefs as their primary function is to enjoy life and live with as much joy as they possibly can.  They do not judge the behavior or desires of others and do everything they can to maintain their expressions of joy.  Each one decides for him/ herself what the Creator is to them and honors the Creator in their own way.  Their feeling is that for them, all experiences with the Creator are individualistic, personal and private.
