We want to have it ALL, and we want it NOW! We want it on our own terms. What’s wrong with that? We deserve to have everything we desire, right? Of course we do! But what we often fail to consider is that many times the things we desire involve not only our reality but the realities of others as well.
We can only create in our own reality. If we try to create in any one else’s that is manipulation, and it runs counter to the rules (the Universal Law of Non-Interference).
How do we react when our manifestations don’t seem to be coming to us at the speed we think they should? We start to doubt. We begin to think that what we are doing isn’t working. We begin to question. We even wonder if what we think is the truth might actually be a LIE. And we jump to these conclusions fairly quickly when we don’t get exactly what we wanted exactly when we wanted it. We start to act like 3 year olds! Sometimes we pout or sulk. Sometimes we throw a tantrum and rail out at God for not listening. Wow- we can be so conceited!
Where does this impatience come from? Fear! It slips into our consciousness as quietly and insidiously as water flows into a leaky boat, We can rarely see the tiny hole which allows it to penetrate our awareness, but before we know it, it’s time to bail. And this is usually what we do. Not bail in the sense of filling buckets with our doubts and clearing them away, but bail OUT, give up and feel like a failure.
One possible source of our frustration is the attachment to a particular outcome. When we think we know exactly what we should have, we set ourselves up for disappointment if the result doesn’t look exactly like we envisioned it. Never mind that what we receive might actually turn out to be much better in the long run (and it almost always is). Attachment to a particular outcome is another one of those violations of the Universal Laws.
It doesn’t have to be this way! The Universal Laws tell us that everything is always in Divine order. Therefore sometimes we have to wait while all the pieces fall into place to allow our manifestations to move from the etheric and into the physical. Everything you desire exists in the etheric as soon as you think of it. It begins moving toward you instantly, but as soon as you doubt, you block this process. This is the truth behind the phrase “let go and let God”. Unseen forces go to work when you place a request upon the Universe. Let them do their job!
When impatience gets in our way, we tend to make hasty decisions which are not guided by our Higher Self. We try to rush the process, and when we do, the results we receive are almost always less than what they might have been had we just been patient and allowed God to work miracles in our lives without being limited to our smaller concepts and beliefs.
The Universe does support us in having everything we desire, and more than we can conceive, if we just relinquish control. We CAN have it ALL!
