For TV producers, drama sells!  As for me, in my life - I prefer feeling good!

This month, Wolfgang and I were both on the "Feel Good Train" when it came time to write.  We hope you enjoy our perspective!

Enjoying the Moment!

Wolfgang and I stumbled across a silly reality show recently, and it’s a hoot to watch!  Eight to ten twenty-something’s (beautiful, of course) are staying at a fabulous ocean-side resort.  They eat (and drink) quite well, and have comfortable, luxury accommodations.  You’d think they would all be having tons of fun – but no, they’re wrapped up in drama, drama, drama.

I’m assuming that there is some sort of prize at the end of this show, because each week someone gets to stay and someone else has to go home.  So, I can see the set-up for drama.  But the truth is, these people are staying at a plush resort and this is, for many of them, a once-in-a-lifetime experience.  I’d love to see all of them band together, say “what the heck” and just have the most fun they can while they’re there.  Now that would be a fun TV show to watch!

Looking back on my life, I see that there were multitudes of times when I got caught up in some drama or another – rather than enjoying where I was at the moment.  So, I certainly can’t judge the people on this show!  But they are a great reminder for me to focus on what’s great about each day – because today only comes around once.

So as you read this; think about what’s going right in your life – right now.  Think about all of the reasons why you wouldn’t want to trade your life with anyone.  Give yourself a pat on the back for all of the times this week that you laughed or smiled.  Celebrate how much you love the people that you love.

Take just a few moments today to step back from your ‘to-do’ list, look away from whatever turmoil might be taking place in front of you, and say “Thank you God!  I’m alive!

As long as I can smile, then life is good!  And if for some strange reason I can’t bring myself to smile, then I’m still breathing.  And as long as I’m breathing there’s a chance that I’ll smile again – and life is still good!

Namaste!   Susan

Feeling Good

I like to feel good every day.  One little exercise that has helped me on my good-feeling journey is this:

I sit quietly and reflect on some of my best ever ‘feeling’ memories (true, imagined, or dreamed up).  Once I’m fully there, I immerse my whole being in this wonderful energy.

With this exercise I bring the best feeling ever into the here and now; reminding me that life is good now.  It also helps me to be aware of what feels good to me and reminds me to keep my eyes open for more ‘feeling good’ to present in my life.

As I write, I’m sitting here basking in feeling good - how delicious.  Try this exercise if you like and feel good every day.

Lots of  Love!  Wolfgang
