For centuries folks who have lived from the land have known that for the best harvest, it is wise to plant seeds on the dark of the moon. If you believe that every thought is creative (and even if you don’t, you should consider this), you can amplify your conscious creation opportunities by planting your intentions on the new moon as well.
The period of time which occurs the last few days prior to the new moon is called the balsamic moon. This is your time to vision quest. It’s a perfect time to go within and make your plans for the future. Just like the farmer cultivates his soil before planting his crops, this will serve to till your inner landscape and prepare for your manifestations to come. Remember, every answer lies within you, so take time to dig deeply.
Every thought you have is like a tiny seed. You plant it and almost instantly it begins to take root and push up toward the light. Your thoughts create beautiful flowers and tasty fruits and vegetables, but they can also create weeds. Constantly monitor your thoughts so that you allow only what you desire to take root in your garden. If you find a weed, get rid of it by changing the thought pattern which created it. These beautiful plants that have grown from your consciousness now need you to nurture them.
Let’s talk about tending this wonderful garden you are building. Just like little children need healthy food and love to thrive, your garden of consciousness requires that you nurture it as well. In order to allow these thoughts to manifest into reality quickly, feed them with trust—large quantities of trust—and energy. The energy that provides the best nutrition for your thought garden is love. Your feelings and emotions are the fertilizer that supports high yield, so add copious quantities of enthusiasm, excitement and joy and your harvest will be bountiful soon.
Share the fruits of your garden with others and you will receive even more blessings. The Universal Law of Giving and Receiving tells us that as we sow so shall we reap, so be generous with what you harvest.
Finally, give thanks to Creator God, Source of all, for the many blessings you manifest in your own personal Garden of Delight.

What a wonderful concept...a garden of consciousness and what a wonderful symbol to work with to nurture and love ones self and ones growth. Jean is a blessing to us all.
