Emissary of JOY

Do you know that you make a difference? Do you feel like a diamond in the rough that is being polished by your human journey? You are actually a special emissary of light with unique and special abilities that only you have.

Secrets of the Light author, Dannion Brinkley says; “you either chose or were chosen to be here” and “you are a mighty spiritual being with dignity, direction and purpose.”

Repeat this: I am a mighty spiritual being with dignity, direction and purpose.

Does that feel good? Here’s another phrase I especially like, I am a high joy vibration. It feels good to remember these phrases when I get stuck in my humanness. We are lightworkers and have a special purpose for being here at this time.

What are your special gifts? It may be something you daydream about doing someday. Today is a good someday to expand that daydream into reality and gift yourself and the rest of us with your special light. Are you listening to the nudges that come from your inner voice and Creator encouraging you to expand? Sometimes feeling compelled to do something starts the ball rolling in a direction that was un-thought before and opens wonderful new doors.

Our soul chooses parents and family as much for what they can do for us as for what they cannot. Here are some questions to ask yourself about the people and experiences in your life.

  • What have I learned from the loving relationships?

  • What have I learned from the challenging ones?

  • How do I react when given compliments?

  • Do I minimize myself?

  • Do I react automatically and hide my light?

  • Do I appreciate myself?

  • Do I do things on purpose, responsibly?

  • Do I help others even when I’m hurting?

  • Do I feel good about a job well done and give myself an atta girl or atta boy?

  • Do I let my light sparkle as I live fully embraced with the process?

These questions will start off the new year in a direction of knowing your worth. I intend that your eyes are opened to the beauty that you are. If you find yourself holding back, do let your inner child out to play more. Do something you’ve not done before. I’m planning the polar swim on the first of January in the cold Pacific just for fun of it with the rest of the polar bear people. What does your spirit want to experience today?

    Women have been going through so many changes and looking deeper into the meaning of femininity. Women are being empowered from the inside out and we’re shifting more all the time. I feel like I’m getting a divine download assisting me to really be a peacemaker. 
    Men seem to be wondering where they fit in when woman are so capable of taking care of themselves, then what is the new role for a man.  Men are struggling to find their purpose and become balanced too.

    The Right to Choose in Life and Death

    What if “heaven” is exactly what we make it up to be?  If that’s possible I’d like trees, warm springs, books, and magic.  I’m an optimist and expect good things to happen.  If I die feeling good, then I may land in the oasis.  If I die suddenly while angry, upset or in fear, it would be very different.  I may get stuck in that unpleasant space for a while.

    When I was a little girl I remember hearing the song Que Sera Sera sung by Doris Day.  The message was an answer to questions about the future and the answer was; whatever will be, will be.   Some say its destiny, fate, tradition and that we have little choice in what comes our way.  Should we simply float along in life and let the winds of change blow us one way and then another?   I think not.  Not anymore. 

    Many stories talk of hardship bringing eventual serenity. It’s all in the perception; how you look at life and what you choose to do with the dance card you were given. Do you really have to kiss a lot of toads to find your prince? If we do, then making the task as pleasant as possible may ease the hardship of discovery. Humans make mistakes, we’re expected to and that helps us grow and change through the experience.

    All or nothing, weak or strong -- contrast exists throughout life.  Do you consider things to be dark or light, good or bad, happy or sad?

     

    What if all the good or bad, happy or sad opposites that have been modeled for living life are simply a study of contrast?  A contrast that helps me decide what could be right or wrong -- within me, instead of a judgment of whether I end up in heaven or hell.  As a child I thought that I was a sinner, because that’s what I was taught. Then I decided the powerful and persuasive church that taught this way was the one responsible for creating heaven and hell right here on earth.
