An Astrological Interpretation of the Mastery of Self seminar, held on the 2nd & 3rd of June, 2001

Astrology tells of the birth of an event as well as a person. It helps
indicate the energy and potential of a gathering and this one is no
exception. With the basic "weather" indicators being sociable Gemini (Sun and 4 planets) giving lots of communicating, sharing, touching, and fun, plus the Rising Sign (indicating the "tone" of the event) in Leo, the sign of big-hearted, generous, joy filled, fiery energy.

The emotional "feeling" of the event is told by the Moon in deep, probing, intense Scorpio, part of a Grand Trine in air (mental) and water (emotional), thus indicating lots of angels and spiritual support for the event.

The seminar started out with wonderful connections among the attendees, lots of laughter and joy. Little did we know that the afternoon session would bring on the "serious side," Scorpio, where, in the safety of groups we probed to a depth that many had no idea they would touch over this weekend.

The Sagittarius planets (2) along with Chiron, the wounded healer, in the 5th house of recreational activities showed that through play we "learned more about ourselves" and healed both ourselves and our companions.

The 11th house Sun in the house of group events along with Jupiter and Mercury supported the role-playing and group encouragement. We were given opportunities to touch our pain, release it and then to be nurtured in the group activities sprinkled throughout the weekend. Saturn close to the Sun, and Mars Retrograde help to describe the blindfolds that we were given to wear and use for several of the processes. We allowed this tool to help increase the value available to us through these experiences.

On Sunday, we visited with "The Group", and had many of our questions answered, as indicated by Neptune connected with the 7th house cusp - spiritual support entering a public arena, as well as Uranus (whose esoteric ruler is Angels), part of the Grand Trine.

The culminating event, the Angel Walk, was deeply moving and quite emotional, Moon in Scorpio in the 4th house, indicating the ending of the event, says that we all were touched deeply as we experienced our human angels. Quite a weekend filled with nourishment for both our heads and our hearts.
